Want to see Cristie CBMR in action? This demo walks you through everything you need to know.
Here’s a video showing the backup and Bare Metal Recovery (BMR) of a Linux and Windows operating system, using Cristie CBMR within the Cristie Virtual Appliance (VA).
The VA is a management console for Cristie products and it comes as an OVA file, deployed through vSphere or Hyper V. It’s accessed through your web browser; we’re using Chrome for this demo.
CBMR
CBMR is a standalone, easy-to-use backup solution that provides full protection for data files and databases, restoring critical servers in minutes. It can be used as a flexible and scalable resource for server migration too.
As CBMR is a standalone backup solution, there’s no need for extra infrastructure or management, saving you storage space, network bandwidth, processing power and management resources.
You can recover to any point in time provided by the backups, and recoveries can be rolled back to a time before the disaster occurred. Your recovery time objectives are improved as CBMR can recover your server in as little as ten minutes; multiple servers can be recovered simultaneously.
We’ll start the demo looking at your VA Dashboard, where you can see at a glance all the information you need about your estates, your backups, recoveries and licensing to check whether there is anything that needs your attention.
