Today we are pleased to be releasing a new version of our BMR Suite 9.1 for AIX to production. The suite consists of ABMR, CBMR, NBMR and TBMR.
Each product is immediately available as a separate download from the Cristie Licensing portal download area.
Common to all BMR products
- AIX 7.3 is now supported.
- CDS has been retired and replaced with the new Cristie VA Service.
- ‘onlyrootvg’ option would not always work correctly.
- Full Cristie VA support.
- Other minor bug fixes and improvements.
ABMR
- Support for the latest Dell EMC Avamar client.
CBMR
- CBMR recoveries would sometimes not set the specified IP address given during the restore.
NBMR
- You can now recover systems from a newauth enabled server.
- You can now specify the auth_db when performing an NBMR restore.
- Support for the latest Dell EMC NetWorker client.
TBMR
- TBMR restores would sometimes restore the latest backup even when a backup version was specified.
- Latest IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM) client support.
Note: These BMR products are compatible with the Cristie VA 4.6 release and you will see an update now.
